Q: What if I buy DeepTrawl then a new feature is introduced which I want to use?

A: When you buy a license key for DeepTrawl you get free upgrades up until the next major version, i.e. you'll get all the 2.x versions as a free upgrades.

Q: Can I use my DeepTrawl license for a copy on both my laptop & my desktop?

A: Under the DeepTrawl licensing rules you can use each license to EITHER:
    - Allow multiple persons to use DeepTrawl but only on a single computer.
    OR
    - To allow a single person to use DeepTrawl on no more than two computers.

Q: My site uses server side scripting, will DeepTrawl still work with it?

A: Yes, DeepTrawl works with any website, regardless of how the html was generated

Q: Will DeepTrawl place a lot of load on my server and slow it down?

A: DeepTrawl is designed to run as fast as possible without placing undue pressure on a web server. If you are worried about server slowdown you can reduce the load by reducing the "Number of threads" slider in the "Spider" tab of the Advanced Settings dialog (Found on the Settings menu).

Q: Is DeepTrawl compatible with Object tags?

A: Yes DeepTrawl checks images within the Object tag

Q: Does DeepTrawl contain Spyware / Malware / Badware etc. ?

A: DeepTrawl contains no spyware or anything similar and never will. We value our customers too much and have no desire for any personal details except what you explicitly want give us.

Q: Does DeepTrawl need any third party software including any specific browsers, plug-ins etc?

A: The installer is fully self-contained; you don't need any particular browser or extra software to use DeepTrawl.

Q: Will I get a boxed version of DeepTrawl?

A: Not currently. When you buy DeepTrawl you get a license key sent to your e-mail address straight away, this is faster than posting a box plus it saves you money and saves a few trees.
