DeepTrawl can automatically send you an e-mail when it is finished trawling, summarising the results.
This feature allows you to leave DeepTrawl running on a computer and always be up to date on any quality issues which may emerge on your site. You can even have your alerts sent to a cell phone, for added mobility.
In order to set-up e-mail alerts please use the menu options shown below...

Above: The e-mail drop down menu
The automatic e-mail function can be turned on and off using the check box labelled Automatically send alert e-mail after every trawl in the menu shown above.
The settings can be changed by clicking Alert e-mail settings. These settings are explained below...

The format buttons allow you to select how the alert e-mail should appear. Selecting Format for cell phone (SMS) will set DeepTrawl to send the minimum amount of information, so the whole message can fit in one SMS text message. Selecting Include all information sets DeepTrawl to include all available information in the e-mail, including the tallies of how many pages each problem appeared on. |
