The automatic export function allows you to export results after every trawl without taking any action. This is a good idea if you wish to keep results for future use. It is also highly reccommended when using timers, so that results are saved for each timed trawl.

This function can be accessed through the drop down menu shown above. The Auto-Export function can be toggled on/off by pressing the Automatically export after every trawl check-box. The settings for the export can be changed by clicking the Automatic export settings wizard menu item. This wizard is shown and explained below...

The first page of the automatic export wizard allows you to select the format in which your data will be exported. Select HTML if you wish to view your exported results in a web browser, or CSV if you wish to view the results as a spreadsheet.
When you have made your selection, press Next to continue.

The second page of the wizard allows you to select what to export and where it should be saved. The options are:
An output filename and directory need to be specified for each file being exported. These can be set using the Change button next to the filename fields.

The third page of the wizard allows you to set how DeepTrawl should handle the exported files from multiple trawls when these have the same name / directory. The options are as follows...
Once you click Save settings Results will be automatically exported from now on.
