The export function allows you to get your results out of DeepTrawl to be viewed either as a web page or a spreadsheet (HTML / CSV formats).

Exporting data allows you to share your trawl results and keep them for future reference.

The export button

To start exporting results, first press the export button on the tool bar (shown to the left). This will show the Export Wizard (shown below)...

The first page of the Export wizard allows you to select the format in which your data will be exported. Select HTML if you wish to view your exported results in a web browser, or CSV if you wish to view the results as a spreadsheet.

When you have made your selection, press Next to continue.

The second page of the wizard allows you to select what to export and where it should be saved. The options are:

  • Export list of all pages found when switched on, this option will save a copy of the complete list of all pages found in the trawl.
  • Export list of all pages will potential problems when activated, this option will export the complete list of problems found for all pages in the trawl.

An output filename and directory need to be specified for each file being exported. These can be set using the Change button next to the filename fields.

Once you click Export the results will be exported to the filename(s) / directories you have specified.
