Help > Find non-standard HTML tags

What does this trawl type find?

This configurable trawl type allows you to find any HTML tags which are not compliant with the W3C HTML 4.01 Specification. Non-standard (usually browser specific) tags can lead to display problems on some browsers and their use is not recommended practise.

Please note that while this trawl type provides a good guide to what tags should be used, it is not a substitute for full HTML validation. We recommend you use the W3C validator for this purpose.
