If DeepTrawl repeatedly shows network errors while your computer is properly connected to the Internet, it is likely your network or Internet Service Provider uses a proxy server.
DeepTrawl must be given the details of your proxy server in order to access pages from the web.
Before proceeding, please obtain the following details from your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or your network administrator:
You can bring up the proxy server settings dialog by using the Change proxy settings button on any network error dialog. Alternatively, please click the drop down menu item shown below:

You will now be presented with the dialog shown beneath. Please use the sections below as a guide to filling in the settings.

Click this check box to indicate you will be using a proxy server. |

Enter the proxy server host address your Internet Service Provider or systems administrator gave you in this box. |

Enter the proxy server port number here. |

|
|
If your Internet Service Provider / systems administrator gave you a login / password for the proxy server please click this check box. |

Enter the username here if you have one. |

Enter the password here if you have one. |
Once you have entered all the details, click OK, your proxy server details will be saved and DeepTrawl should now be able to access the Internet.
