You are now almost ready to start your trawl. Press the start button (shown to the left) to proceed. |
You will now see the scope dialogue. These settings allow you to select how much of your website you'd like to trawl. The hints below the screenshot will help you to choose a scope setting.

Domain / any sub-domainAll the pages within a domain are trawled, including those within sub-domains e.g. MySubdomain.MyDomain.com |

Domain / same sub-domain onlyOnly the pages within the sub-domain specified in the start page URL are trawled. e.g. only the pages within MySubdomain would be trawled if MySubdomain.MyDomain.com was entered into the URL box |

Directory and any sub-directoryOnly the pages in the directory of the start page and its subdirectories will be trawled. E.g. if the start page MyDomain/MyDir/index.htm was entered only pages in MyDir and its subdirectories would be trawled. |

Once you have selected the appropriate scope setting, press OK and DeepTrawl will start using its industrial strength search technology to analyse your site!
