Licensing Details
Our licensing details state that each license purchased may be used either:
Case 1: To allow a single person to use DeepTrawl on no more than two computers.
OR
Case 2: To allow multiple persons to use DeepTrawl but only on a single computer.
Case 1
The most common case is that each license is used by a single person on up to two computers. For example you could have a single license which you use with a copy of
DeepTrawl on both your desktop & laptop but only if these are both exclusively your own computers (i.e. they're not computers in a public place where any team member
can use DeepTrawl).
In this case it's always necessary for every DeepTrawl user in an organization to have their own individual license. We provide a 20% discount when 3
or more license keys are ordered for multiple users.
Case 2
There is a more rare case where an organization wants to install DeepTrawl on a single computer (for example a web server or build machine). If several people need access to this computer & would have access to DeepTrawl that's allowed for in our licensing but the license used on this computer must not be used on any other computer.
Other license answers
We are often asked if licenses can be used on Macs / Windows PCs interchangeably. This is ok as long as the rules above aren't violated.
