The screenshots on this page are taken from the Windows version of DeepTrawl. The Mac version is functionally identical but has a different
look and feel which integrates seamlessly with OSX.

Checks tab

The checks tab is shown first when you open DeepTrawl. It it allows you to choose what checks will be made on each page of your website.
The DeepTrawl interface is very similar to a web browser. You enter the url of the first page of your website and press start to begin a
trawl.

Problems tab

The problems tab shows all the pages in your site which contain errors.
This tab is designed to work just like the results list from a search engine.

Editor
|

DeepTrawl includes an integrated html editor.
Errors are highlighted within your html. As you fix the errors they are struck off the list.

Browser Viewer
|

|
DeepTrawl can show you the problems in your web pages highlighted using your web browser.
This feature allows you to see all the errors on a page in context as a user would see them & highlight them one by one.

Advanced Settings

DeepTrawl is designed to be incredibly easy to use. Most users will never have to change any settings to run a complete & detailed trawl
of their site.
For power users DeepTrawl has many advanced settings, allowing you to change everything from interface preferences to socket level
connection settings.
